Property building in Tokyu Stay Suidobashi
Finding reasonably priced accommodation at a convenient location in Tōkyō at relatively short notice is notoriously difficult. Suidōbashi is a nice area---not too bustling but still lively and with many stores and restaurants nearby. It can be reached by railway or metro from Tōkyō Central Station in about a quarter of an hour. The hotel is in a quiet side street just a few minutes by foot from the train and metro stations. The facility is not brand new but well kept. The staff spoke Englis well and were very friendly and helpful. Except for the view, I was very pleased with my room, which was not large but adequate and convenient, with a comfortable bed. Thanks to a refriegerator and a microwave oven, one can avoid going to restaurants (even though there are quite inexpensive ones with good food nearby). Guests have to pick up their breakfast at the reception in the morning---it is delivered in a basket together with instructions on how to warm it in the microwave. There is a choice between a Japanese and a western-style breakfast (if you are early enough...). I chose the Japanese one on both occasisions and was delighted both by the way it was packaged and how it tasted.

Excellent hotel! We couldn’t wish for any place better for our 9 day stay in Tokyo! Because we traveled with a child it was great to have a little kitchenette and washer/dryer in the room. The room was spotless!!! And quiet. It was pretty spacious for Tokyo standards. 3 of us and 3 carry on bags fit just right. Can’t thank the staff enough! They really went out of their way to ensure we had instructions how to use appliances in the room in English, provided Maps and Directions. We were able to store our luggage for a couple of hours after the check out before we headed to the airport. The area is very well located to explore the city. Only 20-30min train rides to most attractions. The neighbourhood has many universities, lots of great places to eat, inexpensive stores and connected to 3 major subway lines. Two of them within a 3-5 min walk and another about 10min along the local main street, which is nice to stroll. We can’t thank the employees and manager enough for amazing stay and a little handmade goodbye card they made for our son. He keeps it with all his “treasures” from this trip.

Tokyu Stay Suidobashi provides a comfortable and quiet abode in the midst of Chiyoda City. We stayed 4 nights here and could not have chosen a more convenient location to base ourselves to explore Tokyo for our first visit to Japan. Our room was compact but well appointed with a washing machine and dryer, and mini fridge, an electric kettle, microwave, as well as small desk. We were able to fit 2 large suitcases in and still have space to walk in and out of the amenity areas of the room. Basic toiletries were provided in the bathroom, with additional items available for guest use in the downstairs foyer (razors, hair combs, tea, bath sponges etc). There is a JR station (Suidobashi station) just a 4 minute walk away, as well as numerous eateries and restaurants serving delicious meals in the vicinity. The staff were extremely helpful and courteous, and were able to organise Takkubin services for us on request. Fast wifi available in the room and foyer. Highly recommend this hotel for any guests looking for a comfortable and clean room in an excellent location.

The hotel was close to Suidobashi JR station and the metro station. There was a family mart and 7-11 nearby as well as several restaurants. I liked how there was a washing machine/dryer in the room (with detergent and English instruction). There was even a small kitchenette with a sink, microwave, water boiler, electric stove and some kitchen utensils/dishes/soap. A hair dryer was in the bathroom and good shampoo/conditioner/body wash with some extra amenities available on the first floor (razors, tooth paste, shower caps, etc.). The only things missing were an iron/ironing board and makeup cleansing wipes. There are options for the staff to come into your room to collect the towels/trash or you can just leave them outside the room and have them leave new towels/trash bags in a bag on the door. You need to pay extra (1500 yen) to have them come into the room and fully clean the room and change the sheets - we opted to have them leave us new towels on the door each day.

The location was great. It was close enough to 3 major JR and metro stations. It's close to some colleges so there's plenty of late night restaurants and markets nearby. The room was small, but decent. The kitchenette and washer/dryer combo was great to have in the little hotel room. We did not want our room cleaned during the 6 nights we stayed, but had expected they would leave us clean towels hanging on our door, but that never happened. We just ended up washing the same 2 towels in the washer which was not always convenient. Overall, we enjoyed the hotel for it's location, comfortable bed, kitchenette and washer.
